Help & advice for using your Robin Hood card
Find out how to use your Robin Hood Card
You need to touch your card onto a smartcard reader once for each trip made. On any bus service, this will be the reader on entering the bus. For the tram, it will be a validator on the platform.
Please do not touch your card onto a tram platform validator on leaving the tram system.
Your Robin Hood Card allows you travel on the operators as specified at any given time, as long as you have enough travel on your season card or money on your Pay-as-you-go card.
If you have a Pay-as-you-go-card you will need to register this with us, if you have a season card you will already be registered.
Register your Pay-as-you-go-card here.
If you lose your card or have it stolen, you can get a replacement card.
