Learn where to buy your Robin Hood Card
and how to keep it in credit.
You can purchase and top-up your card from any Robin Hood Network ticket machine located around the City and at district centres, (to check the nearest location of a Robin Hood ticket machines, please see our locations map below). You can pay by credit or debit card, unfortunately you can't pay with cash. Cash payments will be available at Travel Centres in the near future.
You will need to purchase a card from the machine first, there is a small fee for the initial purchase of the card, this is currently £2. Once you've got your Robin Hood Card you then need to place it on the reader and select how much travel you'd like to add. Minimum top up is £5, maximum is £50.
You can also find out the current balance on your card on these machines at any time.
New Robin Hood ticket machines installed
30 New ticket machines have been installed across Nottingham, making it even easier to get your first Pay-As-You-Go card or top-up your current Robin Hood card. More ticket machines are being installed at more locations throughout the City over the next few months. The following fares will be applied to your trips made on a given day using your Robin Hood Pay-as-you-go card:

New app for Android phones - check your PAYG balance
Try the new Android app to check your Robin Hood PAYG balance. This is a generic, free to download and use app that will tell you exactly what credit you have on your card.
We are developing a Robin Hood branded app that will give you more detail and will be usable for Robin Hood Season products as well, this should be released later this year.
Robin Hood Season Card
You can buy your Robin Hood Season card at Broadmarsh Travel Centre in Broadmarsh Bus Station. If you are buying an under 18 card you will need to bring proof of age: a birth certificate, passport, medical card. If you are buying a student card you will need to bring a valid NUS card.
You can top up your card at the Travel Centre or at any of our Robin Hood Network Ticket machines.
Your Robin Hood Card allows you travel on the operators as specified at any given time, as long as you have travel on your card.
Your travel is subject to the terms and conditions of the individual transport operators and the Robin Hood Network scheme.
