Easy ways to travel around Nottingham
Getting around Nottingham by bus, tram and train is really simple, hassle free and good value thanks to the Robin Hood family of cards.
The Robin Hood card can be used all across Nottingham’s bus, tram and train network within the area shown on the map. From Ruddington to Rise Park and Chilwell to Carlton, Robin Hood has it covered.
So if you want to catch the tram from Hucknall, change onto a bus in the City Centre and travel out to the Boots site, or simply change between different buses in Beeston, this is the card for you. No worries about if you have enough change or if the ticket you bought is valid on another bus service or not, just hold your card to the reader and away you go. It makes travelling across Nottingham by public transport simple and good value.
Information on how to top up and check your Robin Hood card balance, which card or ticket is the right fit for you, how to use your Robin Hood card and check how much is left on it can all be found in the linked pages.
If you need any travel advice or personal travel planning, please pop into our travel centre in Broadmarsh or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll be happy to help.
And don't worry if you feel smart cards are not for you because you can still buy a paper version of the Robin Hood day ticket on the first journey you make, which will allow you to travel around all day hassle free for only £4.50 for adults and only £2.70 for young people (under 18).
Over the next few months, your Kangaroo Citycard will be replaced by a new look Robin Hood card.
When you next pop in to renew your card, or get your first card, you will be issued with a new look Robin Hood card. Until your card needs to be renewed, continue to use your Kangaroo Citycard.
