There are three Robin Hood cards to choose from: Pay As You Go (PAYG) for occasional travellers, Flexible Days for flexible travellers, or Season for regular travellers.
The Robin Hood Pay As You Go card is a multi-operator card that acts as an electronic purse – deducting travel as you use it. There’s no need for cash or tickets, the card does the hard work for you – capping at the best price for the day.
With the Pay As You Go card, you can travel on any bus and tram within the Robin Hood Network (Greater Nottingham) area. Travel beyond the boundary is not permitted on any bus service.
You can view the Robin Hood boundary map here.

When first purchasing an adult Pay As You Go card, there is a one-off £3 fee. This fee does not apply if you are purchasing an under 19, student or 19-21 Pay As You Go card. - If you are purchasing a 19-21 card, you will need to provide proof of age and you will need to have a photo taken for the card. You will also need to bring proof of a Nottinghamshire address. Your card will stop working the day before your 22nd birthday. This scheme is funded as part of the UK Government’s Bus Strategy Improvement Plan. You can find out more about this project here
