COVID-19 Vaccination Update
Previously, concessionary pass holders attending early morning COVID-19 vaccination appointments have been able to board a bus or tram for free in the Nottingham area for journeys made before 09:30am on weekdays. However, as lockdown restrictions ease, public transport is getting busier and as a large number of people have since had vaccinations, a decision has been agreed between Nottingham City Council and local operators, to no longer permit free travel to most concessionary pass holders before 9.30am on weekdays on any local bus or tram, effective from start of service on Monday 17th May. The exception to the rule is that Nottingham City Council issued Mobility pass holders will be able to continue to access this benefit for the foreseeable future.
